At the Hotel New Grand we have four different banquet halls in both the Main building and the Tower building. Our banquet halls symbolize the history of Yokohama, these halls are filled with over 80 years of history and could be designated as cultural heritage site and buildings.

These banquet halls provide a splendid backdrop to the many services and events we offer here, especially wedding ceremonies. The banquet halls in the more modern tower building are also beautifully designed in a very royal, dignified style and have splendid views of Yokohama Bay.

In the Admiral Perry Room, located in the Tower Building, a grand view of Yokohama Harbour can be seen, where, on July 8, 1853, Commodore Matthew Perry arrived at Uraga, just south of Yokohama.

Perry was carrying a letter from the President of the United States to the Emperor of Japan requesting that Japan open it's ports to global trade. Perry's arrival signalled the end of 200 years of seclusion, to the world, for Japan.

The Admiral Perry Room is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, parties, conferences and exhibitions. It is also equipped with the latest technology to suit any requirements and prides itself as a pioneer in the age of conventions in Japan.

			In the Main Building there is the magnificent Rainbow Room with its authentic European inspired interiors. There is The Phoenix Room graced with the Japanese decor of the Momoyama-style, and there is The Starlight Room, with its superb view.

			The Main building banquet facilities offer a variety of unique atmospheres to suit your taste. Complimented by authentic French cuisine and warm and subtle hospitality ensure a cordial welcome to guests.
